2022 – Balance 1 – IRON HEART

January 1 2022: I am now 1733 Days (approximately: 4 Years, 8 months, 4 weeks and1 Day – LINK) and still have not missed a day of workout.  As I put these words down, the weather is playing tricks on me.  It is supposed to be pretty cool out, but the temperature right now is 77 degrees.  I don’t know if this is global warming but this is not supposed to be this damn warm right now.  I am taking everything in stride though. 

COVID shows no sign of slowing down and the Omicron variant is wreaking havoc throughout the land.  We are hitting new highs again lately and while this is less deadly in some ways, it is hitting people pretty close to home.  I just got some news from Ms A. that her sister and husband tested positive. The crazy part is, folks don’t even seem to giving any f’s about it.

DareBee is not going anyway, I will be continuing right into the new year.  I think I am gonna cut back on some of the other challenges, because I am not getting enough time to tend to other things I wan to do.  I am gonna limit my workouts to 75-90 hours max per day and see how that works.  I am starting off this year with IRON HEART.  I did achieve and maintain admirable fitness level this year, but I need to trim some of the fat around my mid section.  I will we working on trimming and maintaing this year. 

(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout.  First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries.  Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively.  I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90.  So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion.  I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days.  It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way.  I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton.  I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
