2020 – InnerJourney 6 – Vitality

At this point I am 1153 Days without a workout break and honestly, I cannot see an end to this experience. It continues to be just absolutely awesome as ever.  So we have just finished up our Spring and are now at the birth of summer.  COVID is in full swing and we just went over 100k dead.  Folks are still scared to heck and our family has lost Uncle Les to COVID.  The economy somehow is doing quite well indeed, so we are keeping our fingers cross.  

Last month I mentioned that my tele-appointment to see Dr. Raf but that fell through, well, I was able to get another one and so I am on point right now.  I was able to get my zocor back on shedule.   

Marcus for all intents and purposes graduate and got commission – so he is now a bonefide grown man.  I am a little relieved but still miss being a dad.  

William (this is a bit deep into the month) had surgery for a hernia on the 5th of the month, a day before my actual writing of this.  He is doing fine and should be home as I put these words down.

Darebee is still a huge part of my day, although it more of a private endeavor now.  

The beard is pretty much as I stated last – morphed into a light beard.  And I continue to struggling with it.   

Chey completed her 11th year and she did pretty well.  She got through all her APs with out a glitch.  We are awaiting results.  Yes, they were a bit tricky with the pandemic so I don’t know how the results will go.  Her class work was on point though.  I think in general, she likely ended with all A’s and a B, if you are to average the 4 quarters.  But her school split it up in quarters so grades are computed a bit differently.  At any rate, her GPA, both weighted and unweighted in pretty stellar.  I hope she pushes up into the 10-20 percentile.  The school is pretty competitive, so even with mostly As and a couple Bs you are hard pressed to get into the upper rungs.  I am so proud of her though.  

Another thing with Chey is her driving.  We will have to get that addressed seriously over the coming week.  If Marcus is any indication of her future, I have to fix this quick.

(Kept from previous foreword) – Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout.  First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries.  Second, I have added a consecutive component – so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively.  I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90.  So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion.  I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) – I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days.  It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way.  I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton.  I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.

Summary: Today was another early get up and go.  Got major workout done by 1000.  Just need to get mileage/steps in.
