February 1 2022: I am now 1763 Days (approximately: 4 Years, 9 months, 4 weeks and1 Day - LINK) and still have not missed a day of workout.

 

I am actually writing these words well into March.  I have been south working on my property now for a few weeks and it seems as though time has just not been my friend.  At any rate, I am keeping busy with the necessaries so I cannot complain too loudly.  February was a blur to be honest.  I did not even get a good celebration, but that is ok - all that stuff is secondary.  Down here the temperature has been awesome for the most part  so I cannot complain - what's the point though of complaining about the weather.   

The scourge of COVID seems to be abating somewhat.  Omicron looks as though it is only hitting certain populations that have a weaken system or did not get any defenses against it.  In my previous post, I reported that Ms A's sister and husband tested positive - they came through it fine.

DareBee: This remains a part of my staple.  And since I have done all the programs, I am switching back and forth between WODs and any new programs that come online.  For cardio, I have doing a bigger push on the row erg and splitting that with the walking a bit more.  I think I need to hype back up my run to make sure that I don't lose too much stamina.  But right  now, I am contented to exploring walking, as it give me a fair amount of time to process my thoughts daily.  

(Kept from previous foreword) - Additionally, I have added a couple layers of complexity or demand to my workout.  First, I am religiously sticking to DareBee and the Daily Dare; I am also, keeping the preliminaries.  Second, I have added a consecutive component - so, starting with the end of IronBorn (9 April 2017), I have worked consecutively.  I intend to push for 60 straight day, then see if I can get to 90.  So far I am enjoying it and my body seems to be rising to the occasion.  I caught the flu a few day before the end of the last phase (around May 2017) - I worked through it and was back up in only a couple of days.  It appears pushing through and forcing my body to continue working, I was able to push the flu out of my way.  I am also continuing my virtual push to OKC via Benton.  I am really enjoying that but I will have to pick up the mileage here in the next phase as I am running out of time. Keep leaning forward.
