The fact that a court in this day and age had to make such a ruling is troubling…you have got to be kidding me. Â Again, not to disparage any culture, but why in good heavens would a woman have to subjected to a virginity test to prove she is not a bad person. Â This is nothing short of sexual assault. Â Nothing new here though; pretty much in line with other surprising things observed in that part of the world.

Standing just over 2 feet tall, Jyoti Amge of Nagpur, India, was confirmed Friday as the world’s shortest living woman.
Guinness World Records, known as the global authority on record-breaking — albeit odd — achievements, flew to India on Amge’s 18th birthday to take final measurements and confirm the new record. The title previously belonged to Bridgette Jordan, 22, of the United States, who measures 2 feet, 3 inches tall.
Amge’s birthday was celebrated at a party in Nagpur with cake and guests from her hometown as well as Guinness representatives from London. Amge, wearing a purple sari and celebratory henna, stood proudly next to a copy of the 2012 Guinness record book and her official certificate, which was almost as big as Amge herself. Given the fact that the most populous countries are both Asian – China and India, respectively, I would expect such extremes to come from either. Â At any rate, 2 feet is rather small. Â I can’t help but start wondering how all things human could fit in such a small package. Â I have lots of questions on this… Â Â

I have not been able to do much over the last few day, save take pills and drink ginger tea. Â I have been down with what seems to be influenza, or flu for short, since this past
Saturday.
Typically, I get over these things quite quickly, but this is the worse case I can remember every having. Â Not really sure why it decided to stick around this time, but it has really done me in.
No fever, but I do have some muscle aches which got pretty intense yesterday. Â It is quite possible that the muscle aches are a result of loosing fluids.
At any rate, I am trying to get as much rest as possible. Â I have not worked out in nearly a week now, but that’s ok, I need a rest period anyway. Â I hope to get back on my feet in the next couple of day, enough of this sickness already.

Is America ready to make history by electing the first black president to replace a black president?
That is the question latest polls increasingly raise these days that show Herman Cain jetting to the front of the GOP pack.
Not since the nomination of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Courthas a black conservative so disrupted the order of things at the highest levels here in Washington.
Who could forget the blood-thirsty “high-tech lynching†the left assembled to thwart him from becoming the only sitting black member of the U.S. Supreme Court?
Twenty years on, the left still harbors a special hatred for Justice Thomas. Meanwhile, his accuser returns to Washington and is feted all over town like a conquering hero who somehow stood up for racial justice by trying to derail the Thomas nomination.
